September 2007
Plymouth dates for next month. Couple of great nights in Voodoo along the way and another gig for FistFight Promotions, this time at the Scholar.

September 2007
And so on we roll, out of Plymouth and out of Devon. We've had a couple of gigs outside our home town now (Bodmin, Taunton) and a load more about to appear in the calendar. We're so hyped about this, so far it's been brilliant... finding receptive crowds willing to give original music a listen and get into it if they like it, awesome stuff! We're also making some good new friends in the other bands we play with, looking forward to hooking up with some of them again in the future. Right now we have our eye on Falmouth in October as well as a bunch more venues out of Devon we're talking to at the minute. Highlights for the last few weeks have to be Rockers Live at Taunton and Barne Barton music festival in Plymouth, great times indeed.

We also now have management, they can be contacted at manager@facingevolution.com for future bookings. We welcome them into the team and look forward to working together and getting this show out there as much as possible. A few gigs recently have really concreted in our minds that when we're on form we're as good a band as there is... and other bands and promoters we've recently played with/for have made some truly humbling and much welcomed comments about us. Gathering momentum now, feels good...

August 2007
The whole 3 piece thing is working out great. We've had a few gigs at it now and the feedback has been fantastic. Most other musicians we've spoken to are stunned that it's only our 2nd/3rd/4th gig with the line-up, the whole show is looking much more experienced and polised apparently. Thanks to all for their comments, we look forward to seeing a lot more of you in the future. Cheers!

July 2007
We recorded some tunes! You can check them out over at our Myspace page. Myspace restrictions means they're a bit rough sounding on Myspace, so if you'd like the 'proper' versions get in touch with us (Contact F.E. page) and we'll get a CD out to you. Great to get something recorded at last, almost essential for approaching decent venues for gigs. That said, next recording will hopefully be full studio quality and one to start sending out to the 'industry'!

June 2007
We are a 3! One of the original members left just as we finally got up and running... but we've spent some time re-working our setup and seeing if it will work as a 3-piece. The White Rabbit gig on the 14th of June sealed the deal, we CAN create the sound we want with 3 and this is the way we'll go. A temporary frustration no doubt, but perhaps just as much a blessing in disguise. Onward and upwards!!

26/03/07: Our line up is now complete with the welcome addition of Dids on Drums. We are now on the prowl for gigs, taking bookings from May on wards, so if any body able to offer us any, please get in touch...

17/1106: Another slow period at the minute... checking out some drummers, waiting for THE one to come along. We'll keep you updated via the mailing list when this final piece of our puzzle is in place and we get rolling again...

The gig on October 19th was great, thanks to Tom for standing in. We did a 7 song set, great at long last to get on stage and play the tunes live. Wasn't a stellar performance by any means, but y'all don't know what the tunes are supposed to sound like so we got away with the occasional wonky bit here and there. A blinding effort from Tom, just 6 days and 3 rehearsals to learn the 7 tunes and he pulled it off in fine style. The set was:

Spirit to Live
Broken Hands
Peacemaker
Red
One Way Swim
Rememberance
Sometimes They Don't Come back

Can't wait to get rocking on stage again, felt great. Once the drummer's in place we'll be heading places for sure.... catch you soon!
